As you may have noticed, we've got the Wii here now. Costing just (???) £179, the Wii could bring you more laughs than saying "homo eretcus" at the Christmas dinner table. Retailers didn't get anywhere near as many as they wanted to, but they were still able to fill around 75% of pre-orders.
According to some rather reputable contacts of mine (read: I spoke to a tramp outside the closed down Pink Planet last night) re-stockings will be occuring every Monday and Thursday and Nintendo will certainly fulfill all pre-orders before Christmas. This goes for the whole of Europe.
A shortage of Zelda: Twilight Princess discs was mentioned, but it's believed that it will clear up within a couple of weeks. There will be no shortage of Nintendo-related goodies including hats, stickers, wrist bands and those chain things emos wear on their jeans.
